The Weekend

There are three characters in “The Weekend” but, only two really take center stage from the onset of this story. There are many shock points from the first paragraph on that will keep the reader spellbound to the last page. Cassy Tate is a figment of my imagination that allowed me to become that fictional character for a short time.. When I brought Cassy Tate to life she was the one in the book that had to have the underlying ability to be very strong as well as perceived to have a very big heart. However, Cassy is the kind of P.I. that tries to deal with everything like any good hard nosed private detective would. She takes the lead in the story immediately, and keeps you right there with her on a very high energy pace to get to the heart of the story very quickly. When you meet Cassy for the first time, and realize that she is no dumb blonde after all, you find yourself sitting right beside her in her car, and you will actually here in your mind every word that is being said during her conversations. In all, you will not want this story to end due to the fact that Cassy is such a likeable character. Do yourself a favor, and just immerse yourself in this hour long read, and leave your own ho hum life there in your office, and spend a little time with a really cool fictional character better known in my head as, “Cassy Tate” private detective.
